Cyclist seriously injured after colliding with vehicle

A 17-YEAR-OLD cyclist has been left seriously injured after colliding with a vehicle in Ipswich Sunday night.

Witnesses told police the boy ran a red light at the corner of Limestone St and Gordon St about 7.40pm, before being struck.

He was rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition.

The Forensic Crash Unit and Scenes of Crime are investigating.
