Court rules Hogan documents not covered by privilege
CROCODILE Dundee star Paul Hogan has failed in his attempt to have key documents relating to his highly publicised multi-million-dollar tax scandal kept secret from the public.
A Sydney judge upheld a previous Federal Court ruling that many of the disputed documents were not covered by privilege.
Mr Hogan was ordered to pay the courts costs.
The actor reached a settlement with the Australian Tax Office in April following an eight-year crime commission investigation into allegations he and two others, John Cornell and Anthony Stewart, distributed money from the popular Crocodile Dundee franchise into offshore accounts.
Protection remains in place for some documents relating to Mr Hogan's residence in Australia and the US.
