CLIFFORD Park racing will end on a high note for 2012 with a bumper seven-race program set down for Monday evening.

The New Year's Eve meeting will be run in place of Saturday's regular Toowoomba Turf Club twilight card which will be in recess this week.

Monday's meeting features the return to Clifford Park of this year's Toowoomba Cup winner Musashi Of Mieko.

Musashi Of Mieko - now with Eagle Farm trainer Barry Baldwin - has been handicapped with 62kg top weight in the Corona Benchmark 75 Handicap (2000m).

The seven-year-old will be partnered by 3kg Toowoomba apprentice Ruby Ride.

* Country racing on Saturday includes a five-race Dawson Jockey Club meeting at Taroom.

First race jumps at 1.30pm.

* THE Darling Downs Harness Racing Club hosts its second December meeting at Clifford Park on Sunday with an eight-race meeting starting at 1.22pm.
