Child hurt in motorcycle and 4WD crash
AN eight-year-old boy has been taken to Mater Children's Hospital with critical injuries after an accident in Fernvale at midday.
Police are investigating a crash between a small off-road motorcycle the child was riding and a four-wheel-drive.
Initial investigations indicate the child was riding the motorcycle on Fernvale Road when a collision occurred with the other vehicle.
The boy is believed he is in a critical, but stable condition.
Ipswich Forensic Crash Unit officers are leading the investigation.
