Child care rebate payments for parents set to begin

CASH will begin flowing to the accounts of parents who opt to receive their Child Care Rebate payments quarterly.

Under the rebate, parents receive back 50% of all approved out-of-pocket child care expenses up to a maximum of $7500 per child per year.

Of the 700,000 eligible families, about 340,000 choose to receive their payments every three months.
