Burst water main affecting Laidley

10AM: A BURST water main in Laidley is affecting the town's water supply, and could continue to do so for many hours.

The burst main is currently under water, the Lockyer Valley Regional Council has reported.

Queensland Urban Utilities (QUU) have advised parts of the town could be without water for "many hours".

Water is not contaminated at time of writing and there is no need to boil water if it's available, QUU advised.

Phone QUU on 13 23 64 for more information.
