Brune appointed Sea Eagles CEO

THE Sunshine Coast Sea Eagles today welcomed the appointment of new CEO Mark Brune, who will replace the outgoing Justin Veivers.

Brune has more than 20 years of experience in management and comes to the Intrust Super Cup club after stints at Manly Warringah, the Southport Tigers and most recently Mackay/Whitsunday Cricket.

"Mark is ideal for this role," Sea Eagles chairman Peter Boyce said.

"He has worked with high level sponsors and will help take our club to the next level.

Brune will start in the position on Monday.
