Bail for trigger-happy 'burglar'

A MAN who accidentally discharged a loaded gun while allegedly stealing alcohol from a house in Fernvale has been granted bail.

Adam Dineen, 38, has been charged with seven offences including burglary and dangerous conduct with a weapon following an alleged break in on Burns St on Friday night.

Dineen is nursing a cut to his arm after he allegedly cut it while smashing a window during the break in. No one was at home at the time of the incident.

Dineen was granted bail yesterday on the condition he does not reside in Fernvale and he reports to police three times a week.

His case will next be mentioned on May 15.
