Back spasms rule Bogut out
ANDREW Bogut's injury-marred NBA season with the Golden State Warriors is showing no signs of improving, the Aussie star ruled out indefinitely because of back spasms.
Bogut, who had missed 42 games this season due to microfracture surgery on his left ankle, was a late withdrawal from the clash with the San Antonio Spurs in Oakland on Saturday.
An MRI scan subsequently confirmed the source of Bogut's back trouble was a protruding disc.
He has averaged 7.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 22.5 minutes in his 12 games this season.
