Style celebrates strapping young bachelors of Toowoomba

IN CELEBRATION of a strapping young man gracing our front cover, the team at Style thought it was the perfect time to launch the magazine's latest addition - Bachelors of Toowoomba.

Over the coming months we will profile our city' most eligible young men.

So, if you have a brother, friend, cousin or uncle you feel fits the bill, drop us a line through our Facebook page.

This month, we introduce you to our November cover model, Stephen Wakelam.

Stephen moved to Toowoomba three months ago from Brisbane to start his own personal training business, Metabolic Precision.

He shares with us his love of the outdoors, fun and fitness.

Your ideal first date? Some sort of event like a concert or show with a casual dinner beforehand and a couple of quiet drinks afterwards.

How would your friends describe you? Who knows? Assuming they'd use nice words, perhaps fun and driven.

Who is your celebrity crush? My last celebrity crush would've been Alicia Silverstone when I was about 13.

What do you look for in a girl? Many things, but first off I look for confidence, someone who looks like they know how to have fun, and a great physique.

What is your five-year plan? Focus on my business and make a massive positive impact on Toowoomba's health, while living as much adventure as possible along the way.

Where is your local weekend hangout? I don't really have one yet as I'm pretty new to Toowoomba. I always enjoy a morning coffee at Park House Cafe.

What is your favourite sport to unwind? Surfing, without a doubt.

What is your guilty pleasure? Choccy ice-cream, and I also have a little soft spot for Nutella straight off the spoon.

Number one on your bucket list? A road trip down the west coast of Mexico.

Who are your heroes? Richard Branson for what he's achieved and the lifestyle he lives with his great attitude to life. Arnold Schwarzenegger for showing you can achieve anything you set out to. Kelly Slater, he's just a freak in the water. My old man is a hero of mine in many ways too.

What is you life motto? Be the very best you that you can be.
