Australian band Pendulum split
AUSTRALIAN band Pendulum, who became a huge festival act around the world due to their incendiary mix of rock and drum 'n' bass, have split up.
The six-piece told fans there would be "no further" concerts or albums in the pipeline after they announced a break from live shows last year.
The band's creative pairing - Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen - are focusing instead on their Knife Party project, which recently toured Australia as part of Future Music Festival.
