Aussie sheep 'mistreated' in Kuwait

Jeremy Sollars

THE Department of Agriculture is investigating complaints that Australian sheep have been mistreated at a Kuwait wet market.

Complaints, aired on ABC Television on Thursday, came from Animals Australia, which provided footage to the program of sheep allegedly sourced from Australia.

The department released a statement confirming it was investigating the complaints since August 31.
