Aussie Olympian robbed

A 28-year-old man has been arrested over the theft of Australian sprinter Andrew McCabe's Olympic kit bag.

McCabe, who will compete for Australia in the 4x100m relay, reported his kit bag missing at training at Tonbridge, Kent, two days ago.

The bag, which McCabe had left on a bench, contained his mobile phone, headphones and, most importantly, his running spikes.

After an appeal to the public, Kent police say arrested a local Tonbridge man late last night.

Some items have been recovered, although it is not known if they include McCabe's spikes.
