Armed robbers drag 18yo into games room at Goondiwindi hotel

POLICE are searching for three men who robbed Goondiwindi's Railway Hotel at gunpoint early this morning.

The three men entered the Herbert St pub about 1.20am, one of them wielding a firearm.

Two female staff members noticed the man was armed and attempted to flee the premises.

One escaped and raised the alarm with people nearby.

The other, an 18-year-old woman, was chased by the armed robber.

He grabbed her and dragged her back into the hotel's pokies lounge while the trio emptied the till and stole other items from before fleeing the scene.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

One of the men is described as being Caucasian, approximately 185cm tall with a solid build.

The two other men are described as having thin builds.

Police are urging anyone with information to contact local police or Crime Stoppers.
