The following services are available at both our Maleny and Montville medical centres: - Women's Health, Men's health, Family Planning, Occupational Medicine/Workcover, Travel Medicine. Medicals - Aviation Medicals (Maleny only), Employment / Pre-employment Medicals. Diagnostic Services - ECG: heart check, Spirometry (lung test), Blood tests, Dermatoscopy: skin checks. Minor Proceedures - Liquid nitrogen 'freezing' therapy for sunspots and warts, Minor surgery: stitching cuts, removing moles, skin cancers, Implanon/marina insertion & removal, Pap smear. Immunisations - Adult - Q fever, flu vaccination, chickenpox, hepatitis A & B, Childhood immunisations. Nursing Services - Wound management, dressing changes, Nurse consults, Diabetes and asthma management clinics, Reminder/recall system.

- New purpose built facility, Ample Off-Street Parking, Onsite Pathology Collection, Five consulting rooms, Minor operations room, Fully accredited practice, ECG, spirometry, Two registered nurses.

Fees at Flinders Medical Centre – Maleny

Patients 18 years and under, Concession & DVA Gold Card Holders – all consultations are bulkbilled

Other patients – all services are charged at the Medicare rebateable rate other than consultations where a gap fee applies.

Mix of bulk billing and fee charging - Mix of general practice, complex skin surgery and occupational medicine - Contracted out of hours care service provider Family Care Medical Services provides after hours services for the majority of practices on the range; call 13 74 25 or 13 SICK.
